10,000 Hits

I woke today to two pleasant surprises. Well the first one wasn’t really a surprise because I knew Germans would win the Portuguese in their 3rd/4th place match. In fact I was so sure that I didn’t bother to watch the match and instead watched King Solomon’s mines.

By the way the show was really good given the budget it had. It’s a shame really to see movies these days with huge budgets, A-list actors and full of mindless visual effects when all you need is a simple story, a cast of good actors, a decent budget and a good production team working together to make an entertaining movie.

Anyway the real surprise today was when my hit counter finally registered its 10000th hit since its implantation in February 2005.

Isn’t it incredible, given that I am nobody of any real importance aka no celebrity status and have absolutely done nothing expect for a few scandalous self promoting campaigns that ended rather quickly to my taste that I have managed to acquire such a massive number.

Well there are blogs that get 10,000 hits daily but hey there isn’t a single one on this planet that speaks solely about me, expect for Blog De Ganz. This here blog is about the art and science of being Ganz.

Well I am not going to revel on my greatness nor gloat upon my success; I am going to celebrate it. Yes I am going to reward myself with a good meal at some cheap restaurant.

And for all you folks who visited my blog, I thank you. For without you, I am not.
