Food Poisoning

I had a bad case of food poisoning yesterday. Not something I would like to experience again. I spent much of the day in bed and when I was awake I felt I was in neverwhere.

My day started when I woke up feeling a cramp in my stomach area. Even after several trips to the bathroom it didn’t seems to satisfy the devils in my stomach.

I vomited everything but my innards and felt my life force along with my strength draining away. I had trouble getting back to sleep and nearly cried in pain because of the ache in my stomach. It was like my abdomen was pulling itself together.

I tried to sleep but the sharp pain in my stomach wasn’t going to subdue. So I had my mother fill up the hot bag and place it over my stomach area. After two hours the pain finally subsided and just when I thought of sleeping my mother gently yelled at me to see the doctor.

I waited thirty minutes for my turn to see the doctor which I'm sure felt like a short span of an eternity. After spending $35 on Doctor’s fees and two days MC, I went back home and slept until it was six in the evening. I woke up to have my shower and had my first and only meal of the day. After which I took the medications and slept only to wake up at ten today.

Although I am feeling much better today, I find my taste buds have abandoned me and my body coming to grips with the after effects of being hit by a truck. I also find myself 3kg lighter something which I have been working my ass to lose. Well atleast now I know how to lose weight.

And it was nice to know my family was rooting for my fast recovery.
