Pongalo Pongal

I began the day by attending two theory lessons at BBDC. I wanted to leave early because the lessons were more of common sense then anything but I decided against it. After the lessons I went to collect my glasses at Bukit Timah Plaza. I also bought a new novel entitled, Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman.

I was actually surprised to see the book on sale because I have been looking for this book ever since I read smoke and mirrors. Upon purchasing the book, the cashier told me that the 20% discount was no longer valid. But luckily the manager honored the discount because the sticker was still on the book.

Although I was tempted to buy the Fifth Mountain by Paulo Coelho and the new John Grisham novel I decided not to because I felt that if I bought all these books together I would not concentrate my focus on any one of them. Thus I would be spoiling the experience for myself.

When I got home I had lunch with my family. Lunch was special because Today is a special day for all Indians. It is Pongal; the Indian harvest and a thanksgiving festival.

In all honesty I could care less; Pongal is just an excuse to cook good food in Singapore. Anyway lunch was great and made me so sleepy. It was also because I haven't been getting enough sleep lately. I have been relentless in my pursing my passion that I have been neglecting my beauty sleep.

After my lunch I wanted to go for a run but I dosed off and woke up at 6.30pm. I exercised for an hour and now am sitting in front of my computer typing this entry. And folks that was how I celebrated my Pongal.

So till my next post ya, its bye from Ganz.

Just wanted to say that I really like your blog's design. And do yourself a favor. Don't read the fifth mountain.
