Times Are Bad

Finally managed to enroll myself for my class 3 driving license at Bukit Batok Driving Centre. The only problem I have with the whole package is that I need to attend 4 theory lessons ($16.80 each) before I can take the practical lessons. It’s beyond me why I need these lessons when I have already passed my tests and have my PDL. Guess the Driving Centre is trying its best to rip the general public of their hard earned money.

One other thing, I nearly lost my handphone today at the driving centre. But luckily it was at the counter and they kept it at the lost and found section. I had to sign for my own handphone because the Driving Centre like all other major government departments refuse to take responsibility.

Before I headed home, I borrowed a few VCDs (DVD rental rates are absurd) of movies I haven’t watched. Though I really wanted to watch them in cinema, I was unable to do so because I couldn’t afford regular trips to the cinema.

Atleast I planned my savings right, I managed to watch King Kong twice with my brother. I have been saving my petty cash for two months just to watch Kong fall to his death. There was no way I was going to miss Peter Jackson’s King Kong.

Sigh, times are bad. Haven’t had a client since last Deepavali and I am already feeling the pinch. Sometimes I really wonder if I am working hard enough.
