Mesmerized

Yesterday I got home and did weights for about 45 minutes. After which I did a flash banner and read a few pages of the Paulo Coelho book. I got tired and dosed off. I told my brother to wake me up at 10.30pm so that I could post another extract from the book and also continue with my Maya self learning. But instead I woke up at 10.50pm and went back to sleep thinking I could wake up at 11.30pm in order to prepare myself for my run.

All was not to be as I found myself waking up suddenly only to realize that it was 1.30am in the morning. I forced myself out of bed and went over to my laptop in my dining room and switched it off without saving the flash banner I did. I realized my mistake only when I got home today and read the email from Michelle saying that she no longer needed the banner.

And in the morning today, I was supposed to alight at Chua Chu Kang MRT station but I ended up missing the station totally. I had to alight at the next station to take the train back to Chua Chu Kang. By then I had missed the shuttle service to my camp.

Though I did manage to reach camp in time, I couldn’t believe how I could have let my mind drift away. If I am not wrong I think I was listening to the song, Roses are Red by the late Jim Reeves.

When I think about it, I can’t help but simile. I was so mesmerized by that song that I forgot I was even in the army.

So till my next post ya, its bye from Ganz.
