Fellows Luncheon

Today I invited my polytechnic classmates for lunch at my home. I meet them at the Woodlands MRT station and took them to my home. Upon arriving at my block, we met Michelle who arrived earlier then everyone but was too shy to go in to my home because no one else was there.

And if you guys are wondering who Michelle is, she is my great friend who plays golf, takes pretty pictures, a damn workaholic, goes to great lengths to accomplish her objectives and the only other person who comments on my Blog. But the thing I like most about her is her honesty, openness, and encouraging words. Man I guess it was fated that we met. Got to admit, she looks prettier every time I see her.

Anyhow once we all met, we went to my home where we caught up on old times. A while later lunch was served. Today’s lunch was prepared by my mother, grandmother and my uncle.

After our lunch I showed some of them some of my designs and renders and got positive comments. I guess they were trying to be nice and not break my heart. Later I showed them final fantasy advert children, which is incidentally a mind blowing piece of animation. We all agreed that it was a standard Singapore is unlikely to produce any time soon. But hey I would give up on Singapore that easy.

It was really great to see my friends again. They respected me enough to come to my home and enjoy my hospitality. Some of them lived in the other corner of Singapore and braved the long journey for lunch at my home.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank Harfizah for the chocolates and Michelle for still remembering and buying my favorite drink Sarsi. And Latiff for his awesome books which he borrowed me.

Last but not least I thank you all for coming and I am looking forward to next year’s gathering because by the time deepavali arrives, I would have finished my national service and would be a free man.
