Here are some of the pictures I took of Valluvar Kottam in Batu Caves, KL.
The Lord of Dance and his Wife
The Goddess and her peacocks
White Deers
Bulls
Enterance of Valluvar Kottam
Homely Welcome
The United India
Interior of the Cave
Thiruvalluvar
Wide Shot, Thiruvalluvar
Panoramic Shot
Camera setting I used when I was in the Valluvar Kottam.
1) Exposure: 1/20s at f/3.5
2) Shutter priority mode
3) ISO Speed 400
4) Manual white balance and I didn’t use flash
During the whole course of my trip, I didn’t fire the flash. I like my pictures to look natural. I hate using flash because it seems to give me a very artificial feeling about the image.
Ever since I learned how to use shutter speed and aperture, I have been using these two modes primarily and only use the camera’s automated setting when I don't have time to fiddle with the setting. The pictures might seem amateurish because I wasn’t really looking for angles and framing. I was just squeezing the trigger on whatever I felt I wanted to show my family.
Most of the images went through my patented Photoshop automation process. It basically means I didn’t really tweak the pics to perfection; I just edit one and automate the whole process. Well it really saves a ton of time and besides I got much better things to do then to sit in front of a computer for hours on hand and meticulously edit one image at a time; I get to sleep.
So till my next post ya, its bye from Ganz.

Hmm.... 1/20s... thats slow and you didnt use a tripod i suppose? At such slow speed, most anyone can get camera shakes... You are good lei..hahaha..So sharp some more...
Which means your shutter piority is at 1/20s right. whats your lowest F-Stop in your cam?

Haha, yes I didn't use a tripod because I don't have one. I am saving $$$ to buy one.
I am not good; it seems my camera does a terrific job of making me look good.
My lowest f-Stop value is F-3.5, kinda disappointed because I wish it was around 2 to 2.8.
And I purposely posted my setting because u are the only other person who seem to understand this jargon.
Cheerio!
