I Hate the M16

Why waste the bullets?

Let me get the facts straight. I hate the M16. I hate the fact that M16s are made to kill people. I believe the M16 and along with the AK47 are the true weapons of mass destruction.

And this is something I simply cannot come to terms with. No matter how you folks justify it, I am cannot and will not change my opinion about M16. To carry such an arm disgusts me.

But yesterday, the M16 was the weapon of choice for my combat shoot. There are basically two phases for this team effort, day and night. And to be recognized as a marksman, you needed an 85% scoring rate.

During the day shoot, my team was easily on its way and during the night shoot; if not for a certain spurious character my team would have won the marksman badge along with the cash bonus. After promising us that he would own the night shoot, he goes on to miss 14 shots costing our team. I do not blame the wag for his shooting ability nor am I even concern about the badge and the money. I am just glad it’s over.
