Bookrack

My Own Personal Aztec Temple.

Lately I have been having this idea of building a bookrack to shelf all the books that I have amassed. Yes folks, I do have quite a collection and find it extremely annoying to see my books piling up on my table. Everytime I look at those books I get the impression that I am some kind of sun god who has his own personal mini Aztec temple.

Anyway I realized that I haven’t been posting any of my 3D renders as of late and decided that I should reward my readers or rather remind them that I am actually pretty good at this 3D Stuff.

So I have modeled a modest bookrack in Maya and rendered it with mental ray with a HDRI map. I couldn’t remember why I removed the shadows but I guess you folks don’t really care and I am too lazy to make amends. Alas you now have an image of a bookrack that took a mere 20 minutes to model and render and also the words of its creator.
