Vector Camera

Lately I have been having this idea of someone inventing the Vector Camera. That’s right a Vector Camera.

It is camera that captures images like a mathematically equation. Vector is a mathematically defined and does not lose it quality. No matter how much we zoom upon a vector image, we still get indefinitely smooth edges.

But Today's cameras are all Pixel based. Pixel based images are resolution depended and gets blurry as we zoom into it. Now if cameras were to be vector based rather than pixel based, it would open a world of possibilities. But to achieve this we need to find a way to capture depth on a Vector Camera.

Imagine the possibility of having a camera that can shoot a large area of space and not losing its quality in post production stages. The video editors can add virtual camera movements (e.g. Dolly, panning) to that footage. Not only can this save time, money, and manpower, directors will finally have the creative freedom to experiment with the virtual cameras to achieve better angles or shots with little or no added expense.

Well all that remains now is for someone to actually invent the Vector Camera.

So till my next post ya, its bye from Ganz.
