Synchronism

Yesterday I went to 9 signals with my colleagues to loan a vehicle. The strange thing was upon reaching there I saw a familiar book on the guard’s table. It was a Paulo Coelho’s book, The Alchemist.

Well I didn’t know how to react when I saw it. I actually wanted to ask the guard if he finished reading it but my shyness saved me. All I did was simile because I knew it was fated. What are the odds of seeing the same book in two different places? And mind you although the book is a world wide seller, I have never even come a across any of Paulo’s work until my accidental encounter.

My good friend said it was Synchronism and I have become too aware of Paulo Coelho’s works. Though I would most hearty doubt the notion, I am afraid I have to believe his words. I have indeed become extremely aware of everything Paulo has written and also unconsciously am on the lookout for anything related to him.
