A DAY OF EXPENDITURE
What is done is done.
Well on Saturday, it was decided that I had to head on down to Funan IT Mall to buy my WACOM intous.3 Graphic Tablet after my jog with my brother at the Woodlands Stadium. I was surprised that my stamina had improved a great deal. I was no longer patting after running 5km.
Anyways after the jog, I headed home and prepared to head out to Funan. After much public transportation delays, I finally reached my destination. There I met my poly mate, Latifa and passed her my Hellsing and Naruto VCDs. She graciously offered me advice on the Graphic Tablet and took her leave.
I on the other hand, was actually in a dilemma of sorts. I was delighted to hear that the Nintendo Gamecube only sold for $199.90. But the real question was; was it really something I wanted?
Although I mentioned that I was going to spend less on games, this offer was really tempting. But sanity saved me. I opted not to buy a Gamecube because I realized it would become a distraction to my work.
After a KFC lunch with my brother, I purchased two books, ‘The Photoshop and Painter Artist Tablet book’ and ‘The Complete Reference to Maya 6’ for a total of $138. I also purchased the WACOM intous.3 Graphic Tablet at the Apple store for $469.
After spending so much, I had doubts whether I made the right choices on my purchases. But I do not live to regret, what is done is done.
On the way back, a pleasant surprise awaited me. I saw my three of my secondary and soccer friends onboard the same coach of the MRT. After an exchange of greetings and trash talk, we parted ways.
Since Saturday, I now have grown to love my Graphic Tablet. I have almost abandoned my mouse and opted to use the graphic tablet instead. The customizable Express Keys on the side of the tablet are so useful.
And before I go, I want to thank all the people who have visited my portfolio site, Studio De Ganz. Thank you all for visiting.
So till my next post ya, its bye from Ganz.
